A Worldpackers Internship provides professional work experience in various fields, typically lasting 4 weeks or more, with full support and career development. A membership gives you access to volunteer opportunities worldwide, where you work in exchange for accommodation and meals, with more flexibility and shorter durations.
5. What do I need to do to be accepted?

Worldpackers programs can be used to earn university credit, and hosts can sign off on required hours for your coursework. If your school needs specific work objectives, we can provide them for each program. Since every university has different requirements, we’ll work with you directly to help you get the credit or service hours you need.
9. How often do Internships start?
Worldpackers Internships run on a rolling basis, making them perfect for summer internships, gap semesters, gap years, or even internship classes during fall or spring. Some hosts may require an orientation on a set day, but in most cases, you can start any week of the year!
10. What is the program fee used for?
The program fee covers your accommodation, some meals, on-the-ground support from your host, pre-departure guidance and mentorship, access to Worldpackers’ travel support team, and helps fund the NGO to keep their programs and services running.
